Jim Wilkie – Business Partner and General Manager – Jim is a Journeyman Communications Electrician with 46 years of industry experience. Jim’s pride in quality workmanship and products, and the personal level of customer interaction has been his business motivator for all of these years. “With all the continuing changes with communication technology, I have thoroughly enjoyed working with our customers to provide them with dependable, quality business communication solutions through all of these years, and thankful to all of our staff that has helped us along this journey.”
Karen Wilkie – Business Partner and Financial Administrator – Karen is now in her 42nd year of being involved with different areas of the communications industry. Karen admits that the continual changes in the communications industry have sometimes been a challenge, but South-Alta has adapted to the needs of our customers along the way. “We are very thankful to all of our customers for their confidence in our company and the services that they rely on us for. It has been our pleasure servicing you for the past 27 years!”
Arnie Bartel – Project Estimator/Manager and Communication Technician – Arnie has been with our company since October of 2000 and he has 26 years of experience with the installation of copper and fiber optic structured network cabling. As our Project Estimator and Project Manager, Arnie is dedicated to providing our business customers with the professional structured cabling estimate and solution for any new and existing commercial projects.
Carly Frew – Communication Technician, Journeyman Electrician, and Structured Cabling Installer – Carly has been with us since September 2014, and she installs, programs, and services the majority of our new NEC and Nortel communication systems, and our Hosted IP Telephone Solution platform for our new and current business customers. Carly has embraced the challenges of the communication industry, she has quickly adapted to our company’s diversity, and she takes great pride in the quality of her work.
Keenan Wilkie – Communication Technician, Structured Cabling Installer, Commercial Sound Technician, and Video Surveillance Specialist – After completing a General Business course at Lethbridge College, Keenan joined our company in June of 2018. He has been actively involved with the installation of new fiber and copper network cabling projects and with the installation and service of our public address and paging systems for our commercial and school division customers. Keenan is also an AXIS Certified Technician who designs, installs, and supports our IP video surveillance and access control system portfolio.
Wendy Fitzsimmons – Office Administrator – Wendy looks after all the day-to-day functions that keeps our business operations up and running from ‘Live-answering’ of our telephone calls to our invoicing and account receivables. Wendy is our bright & cheery first point-of-contact when you give us a call, send us a general email, or when you happen to stop into our office.
